Reminder to please fill out these two RODA surveys before August 1st if you have not already.
Research Priorities: We are asking for the fishing industry’s help to identify research priorities essential to understand the impacts of offshore wind development on fisheries. Please fill out EITHER this google form or email the RODA Research Priorities Form and return to fiona@rodafisheries.org.
Impact Fees/Compensatory Mitigation: We know that there are ongoing efforts to tackle impact fees/compensatory mitigation including hearing that BOEM is working on this topic with the states. We want to make sure your thoughts and concerns are front and center during these discussions! Review this short DRAFT Impact Fees synopsis of the current and potential approaches for impact fees for the fishing industry. Please fill out this online survey with your input on how to improve the process.
