Attorneys Andrescavage and Longval wrote an article for publication in the Rhode Island Bar Journal’s May 2020 COVID-19 Issue. The article, COVID-19 and the Clean Water Act: A Look at the Liability and Damages of “Flushable” Wipes, addresses potential liability for individuals and municipalities for the flushing of “disposable” sanitary wipes, which can damage municipal sewer systems and/or onsite wastewater treatment systems such as septic systems.
